The Lagos State Police Order has charged one Usman Hammed under the watchful eye of a Central Judges’ Court sitting in Ogudu for purportedly attacking his landlord, Josephine Durodola, at her home at No 25, Olaniyi Road, Agiliti, in Mile 12 region of the state
. The examiner, Reviewer Donjor Perezi, let the court know that the respondent committed the offense on April 8, 2023, around 9 pm at No 25, Olaniyi Road, Agiliti, in the Mile 12 region of the state.
Perez added that the litigant attacked his proprietor when she requested from him cash for the installment of his power bill. As indicated by him, the respondent hit the complainant’s head against an iron entryway which made her hospitalized. The examiner added that the offense repudiated Segment 173 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, Nigeria, 2015.
The litigant, in any case, argued not blameworthy to the charge liked against him.
The Justice, Tanimola, thusly conceded him bail in the amount of N100,000 with two guarantees in like total and concluded the case till May 16, 2023, for notice.
