MONARCHS, AND UNIONS CONTINUE PAYING HOMAGE TO THE NEW AKINRU
Just as a cross-section of Osun paramount rulers who came to pay homage to Akinrun of ikirun departed for their respective destinations, another three traditional rulers arrived on a courtesy visit to Akinrun of ikirun.
They arrived at a rousing welcome of well-wishers who thronged the Oba Yunus Akadiri’s palace to honor him and his guests. Among them were Oba Adebayo Adesuyi Joseph, the Apaula of Ipaula- ijesha, Oba (Alh) Abideen Adeyemi, the Alamo of Ayegbaju ijesaa and Oba Olamilekan Aremu Fayemi Johnson, the Esemo of Iyemogun Oniyemogun.
The monarchs extended their congratulatory greetings to the entire sons and daughters of ikirun land for overcoming the contrived stalemate stalling the ascendancy of the new Akinrun.
While they urge the people of ikirun to rally around their king with maximum support, they prayed for a long and prosperous reign for Oba Yunus Akadiri and the good people of ikirun.
Meanwhile, the members of NURTW, Iree – Ila Branch 3, ikirun also stood to be counted by paying homage to Oba Yunus Akadiri at his Palace. They showed their excitement and happiness with prayer for the king to live a long prosperous reign for ikirun.
In response to their congratulatory speech, Oba Akadiri admonished the members of the transport union to be part of the peace, growth, and development agenda of his plan for ikirun land given the roles they have to play as part of the critical stakeholder.
His Royal Majesty assures the union of his full support to the cause that engenders peace and harmony and that which furthers the growth of their transport business.
