Good afternoon and welcome to live coverage of Graham Potter’s pre-match press conference ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League clash against West Ham United.
The Blues head to the London Stadium – somewhere they have won just twice – tomorrow lunchtime and securing victory is vital if they are to keep their slim hopes of securing a top-four finish alive. Chelsea is currently ninth and ten points behind Newcastle United, who occupy the final Champions League spot.
Potter will be able to welcome Joao Felix back into the matchday squad. The Portugal international hasn’t featured since his debut against Fulham, which ended in the 58th minute after the forward was shown a straight red card for a lunging challenge on Kenny Tete.
Mateo Kovacic should also be in contention to feature having returned to first-team training following a calf injury. Potter will also deliver updates on Wesley Fofana and Denis Zakaria – both of whom stepped up their recoveries this week – and N’Golo Kante, who press hub understands has done some very light training with his teammates as he continues his recovery.
Our chief Chelsea correspondent Adam Newson will be in position at Cobham to bring you the very latest from Potter and plenty more from across our website. Live updates will appear below.
